Submit S-CARS Sales Data

Help Build a Better S-Car Valuation Database

Have you bought or sold one of the Audi models tracked by S-CARS.ORG?

Your transaction can help us build a more complete and accurate picture of the enthusiast Audi market.

Public auction results are useful, but they represent only part of the market. Many S-cars change hands through private sales, enthusiast communities and specialty dealers without ever appearing in a publicly searchable sales database.

The S-CARS.ORG Sales & Valuation Database combines these transactions with documented public sales to create a better long-term record of actual market activity.

Recent and historical transactions are welcome.

Vehicles We Are Currently Tracking

Sales data is currently being collected for:

1991 Audi 200 20V — Sedan and Avant
Audi Sport Quattro
B4 Audi RS2 — Avant
C4 Audi S4 — Sedan and Avant
C4 Audi S6 — Sedan and Avant
D2 Audi S8 — Sedan
B5 Audi S4 — Sedan and Avant
B5 Audi RS4 — Avant
C5 Audi S6 — Sedan and Avant
C5 Audi RS6 — Sedan and Avant

Please submit transactions only for these models at this time.

Sales From Around the World Are Welcome

The S-CARS.ORG market database is not limited to U.S. transactions.

We welcome legitimate sales information from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe and other international markets.

Please enter the country where the transaction occurred and the actual transaction price and currency. This allows the database to examine differences between geographic markets while preserving the original sales information.

Why Is the VIN Required?

A complete VIN is required for every submission.

This is important because it allows S-CARS.ORG to identify the individual vehicle internally, detect duplicate submissions and recognize when the same automobile has changed hands more than once.

It also allows independently submitted buyer and seller reports of the same transaction to be identified without counting the sale twice.

Your VIN will not be displayed publicly.

Full VINs are retained securely within the administrative database and may be used for S-CARS.ORG research and expert valuation work.

The public valuation pages do not provide a VIN lookup service or display the sales history of individual vehicles.

Who Can Submit a Transaction?

You may submit information if you were the:

Buyer
Seller

We may also accept documented historical transactions or publicly verifiable sales when appropriate.

Both parties are welcome to report the same sale. If a buyer and seller independently provide matching information, S-CARS.ORG can use those submissions to help corroborate the transaction rather than treating them as two separate sales.

What Information Should I Provide?

Please provide as much accurate information as you reasonably can, including:

Model and model year
Body style
VIN
Mileage at the time of sale
Exterior color
Transaction date
Actual selling price
Currency and country of sale
Type of sale
Vehicle condition

Additional information concerning originality, modifications, maintenance history or circumstances surrounding the sale can also help provide context.

If you do not know a particular detail, please do not guess.

Optional Sale Verification

Whenever possible, we encourage contributors to provide documentation showing the actual transaction amount.

Examples include:

Bill of sale
Dealer purchase agreement or invoice
Auction result
Insurance settlement documentation
Other credible transaction documentation

Supporting documentation is optional, but it allows S-CARS.ORG administrators to classify a transaction as documented or verified.

Please protect your personal information.

Before uploading documentation, please redact names, street addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, signatures, account numbers and any other personal or financial information that is unnecessary to verify the transaction.

Uploaded sales documentation is never displayed publicly.

After an S-CARS.ORG administrator has reviewed the document and verified the transaction, the uploaded documentation is permanently deleted. Only the verification status is retained with the database record.

Vehicle Condition Photographs

Sale price means considerably more when we understand the condition of the automobile at the time it was sold.

You may submit up to seven photographs:

2 exterior photographs
2 interior photographs
2 engine-compartment photographs
1 additional/reference photograph

Whenever possible, choose photographs that accurately represent the overall condition of the car rather than photographs intended simply to make it look its best.

These photographs are private.

Submitted condition photographs are retained for S-CARS.ORG research and administrative condition assessment.

They are not displayed on the public website.

These photographs can be especially valuable years later when a historical transaction is being evaluated as a comparable sale.

What Will the Public See?

The public S-CARS.ORG valuation pages are designed to show market data—not individual vehicle histories.

Approved transactions contribute to statistics and analysis such as:

Market values over time
Median and average sale prices
Values by model and model year
Sedan vs. Avant values
Mileage-related values
Condition-related values
Exterior color trends
U.S. vs. international market differences
Private-party vs. dealer or auction results

VINs, submitted documentation, private photographs and personally identifying information are not shown.

Historical Sales Are Valuable Too

Don’t assume that a transaction is too old to be useful.

If you bought an S4 in 1998, sold an Audi 200 20V in 2005 or purchased an RS6 fifteen years ago, that transaction can help us document how this market has evolved.

Repeat sales of the same VIN are also welcome. Each legitimate transaction represents a separate point in that vehicle’s history and in the broader market.

Accuracy Is More Important Than Value

The purpose of this project is not to inflate S-car prices.

We want to document what these automobiles actually sell for—including inexpensive cars, projects, high-mileage drivers and exceptional examples.

A $5,000 project car is just as important to an accurate database as a $50,000 exceptional example.

Please report the actual transaction price, not what you believe the car was worth.

That’s what will make this resource credible and useful to owners, buyers, sellers and the enthusiast community over the long term.

Submit Your Transaction

Thank you for contributing to the S-CARS.ORG Sales & Valuation Database.

Your submission will be reviewed by an S-CARS.ORG administrator before being included in the public market statistics.

Confidential submission

Your full VIN is required to identify repeat sales and protect the integrity of the database. VINs, individual vehicle sales, submitted photos, supporting documents and submitter information are not displayed publicly. Public market tools use anonymized and aggregated data only.

Supporting sales documents are optional. If provided, an administrator will review them to verify the transaction amount and then delete the document. Condition photos are retained privately for future valuation research and are visible only to administrators.

Vehicle

Transaction

Sales from anywhere in the world are welcome. Enter the actual transaction currency and country. For non-USD transactions, a USD equivalent at the time of sale helps us make meaningful cross-market comparisons.

Vehicle status matters: please identify whether the car was complete and running, complete but non-running, or a parts/incomplete vehicle. Non-running and parts-car transactions are tracked separately so they do not distort normal complete-vehicle valuations.

Condition

Condition photos — private/admin only

Upload up to 2 exterior, 2 interior, 2 engine-compartment and 1 other photo. JPG, PNG and WebP files are accepted, up to 6 MB each. These are retained privately to help S-CARS.ORG assess condition and are never shown publicly.

Optional transaction verification

You may upload a bill of sale, purchase agreement, dealer invoice, auction result, insurance settlement or similar record showing the transaction amount. Please redact names, addresses, account numbers, signatures and other unnecessary personal information. JPG, PNG, WebP and PDF files are accepted, up to 10 MB each. The document will be deleted after administrator review.

During upload, please leave this page open. If a security service blocks the request, your entered text will remain on the page so you can retry.
