UrS4 / UrS6: 15 years, 7 months agoSo far mine seems to have gone away after reapplication of the heat sink paste on the backs of the POS units. Might want to check that on your car Ed.

UrS4 / UrS6: 15 years, 7 months agoI have never fully removed the drain plug while draining my system. I would unscrew it at far as it would go and then flush the system with DI water before tightening and refilling. The tab thing doesn’t ring a bell for me. Maybe post a pic of it if possible?

I’ve been dealing with a similar issue myself. I assume you replaced all your coils with original Beru coil units AND boots?
How many miles on your Avant? Have you ever replaced the power output stages on the firewall?
